Hi all,
The Black Falcon Football Club has just confirmed they will be sending a team
to Gosford this weekend. They've been in training[*] since before the Dark
Ages and look forward to a glorious victory over minifigs of less Classic
proportions.
Re the tournament:
-- eleven a side?
-- BYO springy player-stand pieces?
-- has someone volunteered to supply a field? do we need a couple?
-- what should we bring in the way of grandstands? I was thinking everyone
should bring as many stands full of spectators as they can, and we'll arrange
them as appropriate.
-- any customised accessories? I'll try to put together a large scoreboard,
any other ideas?

[*] Admittedly they haven't actually trodden on plastic turf anywhere but
battlefields, but a sissy game where noone bothers to wear armour can't be
that difficult surely?
