I think someone out there is trying to make some quick $$$$. I'm not saying
it's wrong, but Why didn't i think of that springs to mind!!!

I am not positive, but I think these are identical to the sets known as the
Kabaya sets from Japan.

Except for the packaging....they are identical...Kabaya has a much lower
quality silver box but the Japanese writing is cool...and they come with a
nasty/chalky candy...

An interesting aspect of the Kabaya sets is that they have graphics on the
box that show different creations you can create from all 4 sets...The
Australan ones I purchased don't show that...<sigh>

Basically, anyone collecting Lego Ninja stuff outside
of Japan and not otherwise blessed by their availability (as is Australia
apparently)would want these.  Hence the prices we will see by the end of
auction.

Even if you didn't think of it, you still could, BTW.  Maybe even offer some
fellow Lugnuts a better deal on the final price than the eBay auctioned sets
and still make some extra cash.  Something like that might be nice.  Or you
could just go straight to eBay on it, too!

There is a seller on eBay from Indonesia who sells the Australian versions
(my friend purchased from him and was surprised when they had the standard
"yellow Box" instead of the Kabaya one.

There is another seller from Malaysia who seems to have both the Kabaya and
Australian versions of the 1st and 2nd generation sets...He was selling them
a few months ago for $60 US+ and occasionally sells all 4 of them now for
$15-$20 US.

A canadan contact told me they have seen yellow polybags of these sets in
Grocery stores there now...

I love the Ninja theme and was miffed those sets weren't available here...I
had to pay a little more to get the 2nd generation Ninja Kabaya sets from
Japan...but it was worth it to me = )
