[I'll be complaining about Target and KMart about the sets listed above. • I
may actually say something good about how BigW can pass the difference • on,
and how it shows that the other stores are profiteering, which may help • even
more.]

The comparison with Big W is probably the key!
But as people only buy from Target during the sales, it will not affect us
much. In fact with the more frequent Target sales, Target will probably • still
get more sales in the long run, since Big W sales are pretty rare and then
only 10-15% and for two days. At least Target run them for a week.

Yeah, up here, Kmart only run sales including LEGO about every six months or
so, if that ...  And they're the one day only sales too!  ;-(

Wonder how many people would like to complain about the very short duration
of sales besides me?  Since I don't own a credit card, I can't rack sales up
on plastic, and there's petrol consumption and the mileage added onto the
odometer of the family car to consider as well.

It would be very nice if we could see a sale running at least a week, and
preferably close to a date where a lot of people get their payday ...  But
somehow I doubt it'll happen.

Cheers ...

Geoffrey Hyde

(...) The local W4K seemed to go down 5-6% and they're owned by K-mart. (...) That's probably the most 'in spirit' drop. (...) It's probably better to get them on different prices, I should have written them down on Saturday before they put the new (...)
