I can post via the web interface and not Outlook Express. Posting from OE
causes the "Outlook Express could not post your message. Subject
'Carcanague.com is live...', Account: 'lugnet.com', Server: 'lugnet.com',
Protocol: NNTP, Server Response: '441 Posts to lugnet.announce must
follow-up to another group', Port: 119, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 441,
Error Number: 0x800CCCA9" error. All postings via the web are confirmed thru
OE so what's the deal?
On a second note... I have to goto the web to read my postings to
off-topic/test, all others are fine on OE. Any idea what is going on?

| (...) 441, (...) thru (...) guessing - are you trying to post to lugnet.announce, from outlook? if so, do you actually have a follow-up (or reply-to) set? if not, the server will reject posts to .announce without a followup. (...) that is odd - are (...) (23 years ago, 2-Nov-01, to lugnet.off-topic.test)
