I ran across this

Supposedly it's the entire text of the 1911 edition of the Encyclopedia
Britannica, OCRed in...
I am not sure of the legitimacy, or of the way that they are making money, but I
thought I'd mention it and see if others have background I didn't.
Since they explicitly mention cookies in their privacy policy, they may be
planting a lot of tracking cookies on your system, I dunno (I use LavaSoft
AdAware to clean them all out rather than blocking them on arrival. Not a
perfect policy these days but ...)
