corporate customer of both companies.  Find the exits NOW!!!

In fact, they haven't even given a hint as to what they are actually
claiming they own!

Until today, I must admit that I have regarded Linux as a mere curiosity.
Now I see that the entire future of the computing industry depends on the
success of alternatives to the Windows monopoly.  One more rebel joins the

Cool.

I suggest you download a copy of the Linux kernel from SCO themselves,
distributed under the GPL. You can get the source from:

<URL:ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/updates/OpenLinux/3.1.1/Workstation/current/SRPMS/
linux-2.4.13-21D.src.rpm>

and the binary from

<URL:ftp://ftp.sco.com/pub/updates/OpenLinux/3.1.1/Workstation/current/RPMS/
linux-kernel-binary-2.4.13-21D.i386.rpm>

.

Then, you can redistribute any the modifications to whomever you like. Even
if SCO miraculously does have a legitimate claim to some of the code
(doubtful), they've now licensed it to you as Free Software.

Disgusting. A few million dollars investment by Micro$uck in SCO and suddenly the smaller company is all piss and vinegar, snapping at its UNIX brethren with a ridiculous threat to sue any company using Linux on a server if they don't cough up a (...)
