I use a few things--
Apache web server (www.apache.org)
DNStoGo (www.dnstogo.com (iirc))
and a Compaq p2300 with a 3.2 gig HD running Windows 2000 (basically so I can
use the built-in FTP functionality of Win2K.)
Thats it. The cable company uses dynamically assigned IP addresses, so
sometimes the IP on my system changes. That doesnt matter cause DNS2Go has
a little applet on my system that sends the new IP to their servers, so
domain forwarding for http://sparky.i989.net always points to my system.
Works quite well. The whole thing was basically free (the Compaq system is
so old that my company let me have it, Apache is FreeWare, and DNS2Go was
freeware, but now theyre charging 14 bucks a year--still woth the price :)
14 bucks so I can have my own web server--thats good nuff for me
Just let me know if theres anything else...

Oh yeah, I guess some system info would be nice, if someone wants to help me
setup my Apache web server. Im running Windows XP Home, with cable internet
running through a router. Thanks for the help.
