Hey Y'all:

Does anyone know of any legitimate sources (VHS/DVD) for the following:

1. Neo-Tokyo (but in particular the short "The Running Man" by Yoshiaki
Kawajiri)
2. The complete "Liquid Television" (but in particular "The Art School Girls
of Doom" segments)

As far as I can tell, Neo-Tokyo is long out of print as a VHS title and,
surprisingly, no DVD release has taken its place.  Quite the surprise here
because the last short in the film is by Katsuhiro Otomo: "The Order to Stop
Construction." That this is unavailable makes no sense to me. Another
roadblock in locating a used copy is the fact that a search for the phrase
"Neo-Tokyo" returns a cajillion hits for the movie "Akira." ::sigh::

As for the Liquid Television VHS/DVDs, they are apparently missing any of
the "Art School Girls" segments altogether.  And the only significant appeal
otherwise is the Aeon Flux material which I already own on 3 VHS tapes. I
have almost no hopes of obtaining this stuff but I thought I would ask if
anyone knew anything that might help in my search.

It is not my intention to discover illicit versions of these titles, but if
that's all that is available I'd certainly be willing to hear of the
sources. Quality is a factor, it has to be at least of good VHS quality.
Even then I am not exactly jonesing to obtain someone else's decaying
magnetic tapes...

Who can I bitch to about the Neo-Tokyo DVD?  I want one...
