A diagram from a German engineering company indicates plates "aus vergetetem
Stahl 1.2312" -- tempered steel 1.2312.
Other parts are available "in den Materialien 1.2767 und 3.4365 erhaltlich".
What is the system of these numbers? I am familiar with American numbers,
like SAE 4140, P20 (AISI).
Any help would be appreciated!
