<sarcasm>
For shame! That's TOTAL LANGUAGE LEARNING, don't you know?
That's where it's about phonics and not about spelling or grammar.
Grammar, pah, it's so passé--only people with NO LIVES care about
others' grammar and spelling!
</sarcasm>
All that obvious sarcasm completely aside, my hope is that it's
just a kid who doesn't know any better, whose parents aren't like mine
were (the donkey/bottom slang and the c-word in question were totally
unacceptable, only 16 years ago), and who will figure out one day that
people won't take their opinions seriously unless they're presented well.
(Phew! What a run-on sentence *that* was...and don't even start in on
my paragraph structure, please.)
LFB (who just finished 60 college midterms, one of which kept spelling
"United States" as "United Sates"...and many worse things)
