Well, I downloaded the ISO images this morning and burned them and figured I'd
give it a shot, see if Mandrake would detect and work with everything on my
laptop including my wireless nic. And it did!
Now I'm up and running and fairly impressed. Mozilla seems to work fine, KDE
is good, still need to try Gnome.
I need to figure out how to do a couple of things, namely get a battery meter
display going and turn off the stupid touch-pad click ability, but other than
that, I'm pretty happy so far.
