Can anyone recommend a digital camera? I can spend as much as 600-700
dollars.

There are lots of magazines that will give comparisons and a rundown of features - if you are going to spend several hundred dollars the best advise I can give is to make the investment in (...) Wow such a firestorm of info and opinions this is going to be a hard decision! I'm making a list of what I want to do with the camera and I hope that narrows things down. I will post that list soon.
