  Windows and new hard drive

Installing a new drive with Linux is easy. You just physically plug the drive in and boot up. Then you can issue three commands and you're all set. Under Windows 95 it is much harder. I originally tried to partition and format the drive with Linux. (...) (24 years ago, 15-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

(...) Cool. There's a large bunch of my brain cells devoted to storing obscure DOS config information; I'm glad it came in useful! (24 years ago, 17-Dec-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
