| When they first came up with SCSI, the originators of the standard (no, I don't remember who it was) tried to impress upon everyone else that SCSI should be pronounced "sexy"... it was the geeks (snorting derisively at a too- cute acronym, no doubt) (...) | (...) That would be Shugart (...) Actually it was spelled SASI and pronounced "sassy". It later became a non-company specified standard and was renamed SCSI. (24 years ago, 26-May-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)
