| Hi geek friends!I'm visiting my parents and they are in desperate need of a new pc. I know certain online services were offering free pcs for signing up. | I know that free-pc.com is gone (i was approved, but never got my machine after emachines bought them, bah) I don't know any off hand that are free.. but you might want to look at peoplepc.com i think they're like $25 a month. (...) (25 years ago, 21-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

I know it does not fit, but there is a internet madness right now here in Turkey, and every major isp gives free pcs to anyone who signs a three year contract (20 to 50$ per month depending on the configuration).
