(...) Not really much of a surprise - they did the same thing with Windows 2000. Oh, and the MCSE certification - changing the "retire things that are 2 versions old" plan just to try to force people to upgrade. I'll still be supporting Windows NT (...) Typical M$ to change the interface, then tell us that the changes are what we want. I won't complain too loud (it's free, after all) but it's maddening to just get used to the way it works, then BAM! Totally different GUI. -Cheese (...) (25 years ago, 10-Mar-00, to lugnet.off-topic.geek)

The main attraction is Miguel de Icaza (of GNOME fame), but there's also gonna be Lego Mindstorms there to play with and look at.
