POO .. 'Principles of Operation' probably with some subtitle about System/370.
The book that was the definitive reference for the machine instruction set and
registers. My memory implies that it had a butterscotch color cover. I had
several editions at one time, but discarded most of them a few years back. About
the time I realized that I would probably never go near a 'big-iron' box again.
