Yes, my wife (and kids) was in Dallas visiting her family last week.
Needless to say, she wasn't too excited about flying home with 2 small kids
on Saturday. Plan B was to rent a car and drive 1400 miles home. Luckily
we had a friend who was also in Dallas last week and was willing to share
the drive.

That's what we thought. The image posted is very poor in comparison to the
video.
