Good news!
According to an email I just received, we all stand to make oodles of money:
"To all of my friends, I do not usually forward messages, but this is from
my good friend [name removed by me] and she it WILL work."
Well, with a testimonial like that, how can we lose? Apparently every
time we forward the email about the forthcoming secret merger of AOL, Intel,
Microsoft, Apple, NASA, Nabisco, The XFL, and a host of other large
companies (I may have unintentionally added a few...) Bill Gates himself
will send us a check. This is great! Now I have a foolproof way to fund my
brick addiction!

| (...) Yeah, that was a great one. The email I got actually talked about AOL and Intel (I think) merging and conducting an email beta test! But somehow, miraculously, Microsoft would be the ones sending me a check. And also, it was GARAUNTEED to work (...) (24 years ago, 9-May-01, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
