    Re: Stephenson's Rocket —Larry Pieniazek
(...) Sounds good. Can you tell more about it? For example, I consider 1830 more "abstract" than eurorails. One of the reasons I like 1830 is the stock market manipulation. What do you mean by abstract.. For flat out beer and pretzels, it's tough to (...) (25 years ago, 15-Apr-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) I do too. And I agree that 18xx is fully an economic game. (...) Have you seen the new version? I just picked it up Saturday morning. It's pretty. The game doesn't need to be pretty, but it is nicer. Chris (25 years ago, 17-Apr-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Stephenson's Rocket —John D. Forinash
(...) I had not realized it was out. Is it more like 1st edition or second edition Acquire? (The major difference was the "special actions" showed up in second edition... -JDF (25 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
