Hmmm. That just adds to my suspicion. Plus, there are no details in the
story, and even the authorities mentioned admit to being oblivious to the
actual situation. I'm more inclined to think that this was a more common
murder-by-human. By ways of example, see Dian Fossey and Joy Adamson; both
were killed by a person, but were arranged to appear to have been killed by
animals.

I agree; it makes for an exciting urban legend. I'll wait to see what a more
thorough investigation reveals, however...
