  Re: age of lugnuts

(...) Lugnuts are very useful, and many things in our wonderful world would be less efficient without them, but in general, they're predictable and not much fun at parties. Lugnetters, I suspect, are great fun at parties, and I'll let you make your (...) (25 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Then again, if I came to America I'd write "misteak" too, 'cause your quality of meat is a mere shadow of Australian meat, and I'd miss it!! ;-) <ducks, weaves, dodges and runs a long way (...)   Re: age of lugnuts

This has been done before. You may want to use the search feature on the website to see what people said last time it was asked. You also may want to peruse the member list which should give you well over 200 data points (may be a bit skewed as the (...) (25 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  age of lugnuts

I was just wondering how old lugnuts are. I myself am twelve but I get the impression most of the lugnet readers are older than that. So Ill do a survey. If anyone would send me an e-mail with their real age to vebble2669@aol.com, I might get some (...) (25 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: trade bricks? need gray for other colors.

(...) I see an opening bid somewhere in the 1-10 million range as being a good start. He's worth a lot. :-) For the humor impaired: I do not in any way shape or form condone trading in human life. (25 years ago, 12-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Fun new Elements and more disk space!

That was the subject line on a mail I got from homestead.com (I registered there when I was looking for stash space, now they just keep mailing me stuff once in a while) Consider it a measure of my LEGOgeekness that on reading it I thought...   Re: Fantasy series & anime music (was Re: [CW] Pawel and Craig - please clear up this confusion!)

(...) Considering that Lewis was an incredibly devout, er, whatever-he-was - (Anglican? Or Catholic?) like Tolkien, it's really not surprising to think about it. And I agree, it's a cracking good read anyway. (And I personally like many of the (...) (25 years ago, 12-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) The muppet movie is one of my all-time favorites. Lots of good gags. "Turn left at the fork in the road." "They don't look like Presbyterians to me." And the classic: "Jack not name, Jack JOB!" :) James (URL) (25 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
