  age of lugnuts

I was just wondering how old lugnuts are. I myself am twelve but I get the impression most of the lugnet readers are older than that. So Ill do a survey. If anyone would send me an e-mail with their real age to vebble2669@aol.com, I might get some (...) (26 years ago, 14-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: trade bricks? need gray for other colors.

(...) I see an opening bid somewhere in the 1-10 million range as being a good start. He's worth a lot. :-) For the humor impaired: I do not in any way shape or form condone trading in human life. (26 years ago, 12-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Fun new Elements and more disk space!

That was the subject line on a mail I got from homestead.com (I registered there when I was looking for stash space, now they just keep mailing me stuff once in a while) Consider it a measure of my LEGOgeekness that on reading it I thought... "huh, (...) (26 years ago, 12-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: Fantasy series & anime music (was Re: [CW] Pawel and Craig - please clear up this confusion!)

(...) Considering that Lewis was an incredibly devout, er, whatever-he-was - (Anglican? Or Catholic?) like Tolkien, it's really not surprising to think about it. And I agree, it's a cracking good read anyway. (And I personally like many of the (...) (26 years ago, 12-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) Nope, no cabbit 'myas' on the BoB CD (at least the English version). (But it's also not just TM, it's got songs from a lot of different Pioneer OVAs...) J (26 years ago, 12-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Juniorization trend is just TLC returning to it's roots...

Seeing this auction: (URL) me thinking down the bizarre line that the trend towards juniorization of LEGO sets is just TLC returning to it's roots. follow-ups to lugnet.off-topic.fun Frank (26 years ago, 12-Feb-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

  Re: Mr Rogers

(...) When I was young, I was a serious "Fred-Head". (Not my description!) More recently, I've lost a bit of respect for the man, though. I read that he was involved in a dispute a year or two ago where he was trying to restrict public access to the (...) (26 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

It also ruins the book (for me :). I try not to think of (...) (26 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) The muppet movie is one of my all-time favorites. Lots of good gags. "Turn left at the fork in the road." "They don't look like Presbyterians to me." And the classic: "Jack not name, Jack JOB!" :) James (URL) (26 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) I've been working on Barbara with this gag. She'll never watch the Muppet Movie (so she says), but I've gotten her to respond to "MYTH! HYTH!" very well. :-, I think I'll start working on "Gone with the Schwinn" next... We'll see how long (...) (26 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)

(...) It's funny, everyone talks about this allegory, but when I read the entire collection when I was about 14 it flew right over my head. Guess it's because I wasn't raised as a Christian. I just figured they were really good fantasy books. The (...) (26 years ago, 11-Feb-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
