It's not available. Metroliners are named trains that only run on the
Northeast Corridor (Boston to Washington DC via NYC). They are
electric, and are an outgrowth of the old Budd RDC equipment.
If you're in Illinois you'll be behind diesels. Note that older Amfleet
equipment looks like Metroliner stock. Weird, really, the way that stuff
has come full circle
(The RDC that Metroliner evolved out of was essentially a passenger car
that had a diesel engine slung under the middle to make it self
propelled, driving a generator that powered the traction motors in the
trucks. Metroliners substituted electric pickups for the diesel motor...
Amtrak later decided to use the Metroliner shell design to do unpowered
coaches...)
Note that none of these look very much like the TLG Metroliner.
