In France, the scale goes from 0 to 20.
It is quite frequent to receive a "16.5 out of 20" for a work - for the best
pupils :-)
Some teachers are even used to give some 15.25 out of 20. I've always been
amazed by a teacher being able to judge a work with a precision of 1.25% :-).

| (...) In Queensland it is usually 1 to 20 too. The upper grade (A grade) is 18.5 to 20 though. I have seen quarters before but not very often. Tim (18 years ago, 16-Oct-06, to lugnet.off-topic.fun)
