First, with out defining it crisply, you do (sort of) know what I mean and
agree that it's a good idea to avoid it, right?
Can I take the "I know it when I see it" cop out? :-) Kidding aside, I would
tend to define it along the lines of the previous thread when we were
talking about the scientific method and what a good hypothesis was (or wasn't).
Although we never did satisfy the conundrum posed about falsifyable
theories, I do tend to give that set of criteria a lot of credence.

Junk science fails one or more of this authors tests. Or something like that.
