IANAM(1), but I believe that one of the basic beliefs is that "That there is no
god but God and that Mohammad is His messenger".  Though, they mean the same
God, so maybe that doesn't count.  This leads me to wonder: Is there a term to
describe the believers of God(including Jews, Christians, Muslims and others)?

Yes, it is something like the first amendment "La ilahe illallah and
Muhemmedun resulullah" or something like in Arabic. Islam also states
that Isa (Jesus) Musa (Moses) and Davud (David?) are all prophets like
Muhammed (Mohammed) and so, they all were the messengers of the same
god. It strongly denies father-son relation in the Christianity, though,
since it means existence of a second god or a semi-god, which is not
possible under Islamic belief, since the god is one and only.

Kuran mentions the names of 24(?) total prophets and also states that
countless of them had been sent since Adem (Adam) to the last one
Muhammed, and he was is last one and the only one "who is a messenger
for the whole mankind".

All of those mentioned above are from Kuran and all the responsibility
is belong to the original author..:-)
