Certainly I'm willing to consider it. I just don't think you'll be
able to convince me.

  Oh, really?!

Yes. Really. "Going by past successes", that is called.

When there are few of you, centralising yourselves and starting small
certainly is easier than going for the big bucks right from the start.

I'd like to see that happen. I am sure the Liberals (Socialists) of this
country would love it, too...  "Wow, those Libertarians in that state are
pulling in a ton of bread... we better go get some of it for the rest of
us."

So what you are really saying is that you'd rather not do it because
you're afraid it might not work. Well, your choice.

Microsoft. IBM. How did the government help them get big money,
exactly?

What?  We were talking about charities.  The biggest, most centralized
charity in the US being the government.  I said the "big money" wouldn't be
centralized, i.e., it would be in many competing charities' hands, not just
one.  What does that have anything to do with IBM, Microsoft, exactly?

Thought you were talking about donors.

Okay, Greenpeace, Salvation Army, NOVIB.. How did governments help
them get so big? (And yes, I know that Greenpeace US has been
virtually shut down since the Gulf)
