More questions I'm afraid :)
Using this premise, does the child have a right to expect an education from
their parents? And if the parents default on that duty - would the child
suffer? (As I understand it, one of a Libertarian state's duties is to prevent
individuals violating the rights of others)
If the state sends the child to school without having paid fees then is that
child given the debt to repay later, is it given to the parents or would the
state pay for the fees?
If the Libertarian state allowed the child to go without education then that
child is more likely to grow up into someone who won't be able to afford to
send their children to school either. Dangerous Catch 22..
