So just because your dad happened to build a house somewhere, you think the
whole world should bow down and provide all the "niceties" of life,
regarless of whether the location your dad built his house on was a sensible
location?
Now most likely, the property is in fact in a sensible location, in which
case, there will be a good sized town, and the townspeople will want a
library, and they will spend the money to build it.

Because the people will want a library. If they can build it for a cost
which is worthwhile to them, they will build it. If it costs more than it is
worth to them, then it's cost is more than it's worth to them. Perhaps
that's because they all have internet connections, and can access just as
much or more information than the library could hold, and for the cost of
the library, they can pay for their internet connection, and order more
books than they have time to read from amazon.com. Of course when the books
they order from amazon.com start filling the house, they may realize that
part of the cost of owning the books is the cost of the space, and that may
change the cost/benefit analysis of the library, and voila, a library gets
built, and all those books they bought from amazon.com get donated to the
library.
