  Yeah, I didn't do the best job of citing references--sorry about that.  I'm
at work now, so I can't give you the titles at the moment, but I didn't want
you to think I was ignoring you, either!  Next time I log on from home I'll
follow this posting with more information.

I prefer
Rush's idealism over Franken's sarcasm, and would feel safer if more agreed
with the former than your man.  No, he's not stupid, nor an idiot, but
neither is Rush, in case you took that too seriously.  In fact, I relish
Franken's humor, as so many funny people these days are just so dull.  Not
that I agree with him, but I like him.

  That parallels my view of Rush, as a matter of fact, and I certainly
wouldn't claim that Rush is wholly without merit or that he's not funny,
either.  Franken is, for my money, the funniest (intentionally funny, that is;
not just good for comic relief!) and best-informed Liberal social comic at the
moment.
