It has been a while since a good hearted conversation has been going on in this
sub forum, and, after my Saurian fighter (seemingly) received the snub in
.Space, I am feeling slightly malevolent. So, I am starting this.
I have this question to pose:
If your religion specifically states that it is the one true religion and your
god is the one true god, then of what value is there in respecting and holding
in high regards another religion? Why not be true to yourself and your beliefs
and just be honest with others, that is, why say that another religion has worth
or value when your book says it is wrong?
Even if a person wishes to keep the peace, just let THEM play in their sandbox,
and you stay in yours and never shall the two meet. This trying to find a common
ground goes against each sides TRUTH.
-Avery
P.S. I have no bearing for or against either religion, I am neither Catholic nor
Islamist.

| (...) Yeah that was pretty stupid thing for the Pope to imply. It's not like the "west" hasn't pissed off the fundamentalist sects of all religions enough. So, lets pour some gas on the fire! It really is a bizarre world we live in lately : ( (18 years ago, 17-Sep-06, to lugnet.off-topic.debate)
