Do not overestimate the influence of Lar over at BL. He has many detractors
there and I'm not sure everyone will be displeased by his store being closed. I
myself couldn't care less because I'm not visiting BL more than a couple times a
year nowadays, but I was once invited to take part in a project that would
exclude Dan and sellers like Larry from a new shop system most like BL. I
declined the invitation and I'm no longer aware about this project. I must say
however that Larry's marketing tactics do not please me. I will not take ides
in this issue, as I think both sides are wrong here, but defending Larry without
knowing the context is not the best thing to do. I do not know the full extent
of what is happening myself, so I'll keep from defending either sides. I have,
however, said on BL that I think Dan's attitude towards this particular problem
is not a good one imho. From what I can read, Lar's reactions to Dan's warning
wasn't very intelligent either.
