Moi: Canada, Mexico, Spain, Portugal, France, (West) Germany, Austria,
Switzerland, Italy, Greece, Israel, Egypt, Jordan; most of those countries on
multiple occasions, and 34 states.

Great list. Mine is about the same size, but probably less extensive within the
countries themselves:
Portugal, Spain, Andorra, France, UK, The Netherlands,
Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Russia, China (incl. Macau, before handover), Tunisia,
Cuba, Jamaica. Also Germany, if we’re counting airports (Frankfurt).
Farther...
- N: Helsinki, Finland
- S: Montego Bay, Jamaica
- E: Hong Kong, China
- W: La Habana, Cuba
Shamefully, I haven’t yet been to all of my country’s regions, but I’ve been in
all those of Spain. Go figure...
