Some of the more closed-minded Miss World participants had already begun carping
about the upcoming stoning of a Nigerian woman, in accordance with Islamic
sharia law.
Dissection:
Also Old Testament law, we might point out. Read your Bible, adulterous women
are to be stoned. Its true, Jesus spoke out against that with let he who is
without sin throw the first stone, but he was speaking against the written law
of the Jews.
Does anyone still follow old testament law? If so, thats pretty scary.
I thought the problem with sharia law was that it hasnt been updated.
The stoning bit was picked up from the old testament and it stuck around.
