As far as Christianity breeding violence and death, I don’t see it.

I second that!

Hmmm... let’s see, the KKK, neo-Nazis, yep no Christians breeding violence and death at all.

Ah, I see. So you are willing to define a group by the few extremists in it.

And where exactly did you pull that notion from? I was simply pointing out that Christianity has just as many wacko extremists as other religions.

I think from your equivocation of “Christianity” with “Christians”. Christianity as a religion doesn’t breed violence and death. Wackos calling themselves “Christians” might. There is a distinction there.

I guess then that you wouldn’t have a problem calling Islam a religion that breeds violence and death, either.

No that would be you at the bottom of this post

This is what worries me: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/977522/posts

That is becuase most Palestinians only know what their ‘government’ tells them. Just as when Bush says country X is a threat and most Americans support him,

Dude, your equivocations are sick and offensive! Americans would never support Bush if he advocated the slaughter of innocent women and children! What are you smoking?

There is quite a difference between Christianity and its extremists wackos (who are always summarily condemned by Christians), and Islam and its attitudes towards its own extremists.

No there isn’t really. The only difference is most Muslims actually follow the tenets of their religion while most christians conveintly ignore the stuff they don’t like. Both religions are based on the same fundamental belief of doing no harm to the innocent. (There are both derived from the same ancient religion after all)

HELLO, MCFLY???!!! Is there anyone home, Mike? I just got done showing you a poll stating that the majority of the Palestinian population advocates the murder of innocent women and children.

HELLO, BRAINDAMAGED!!! You did not site a poll stating that the majority of the Palestinian population advocates the murder of innocent women and children. You sited a poll stating that the majority of Palestinians support suicide bombers. Very big difference. People that do not live in freedom do not know anything but what their governments tell them. What do you not get about that concept?

Exactly how is this following a “fundamental belief of doing no harm to the innocent”????? There is a serious disconnect going on here.

Re-read that which was in my previous post: ”...when Palestinian leaders say their ‘country’ is being attacked by ‘evil Jews’, people support ‘the ultimate sacrifice’ to defend their ‘country’ from ‘evil’.” Nowhere are Palestinians told that what sucide bombers are really doing is blowing up innocent civilians, they think they are blowing up evil oppressers. Get with the program, its called Propaganda. Fortunately we live in freedom and can see when our leaders are making things up so it is a much lesser problem here.

Why won’t the Muslim world flat out condemn terrorism and work to end it?

Most Muslims that live in freedom and know the truth do condemn terrorism that results in the killing of innocent lives, as it is against their religon.

Cites please! I think you are ignorantly shooting from the hip.

You think, huh?
