Very quitely, House Republicans have defeated a call for an independent
investigation of the 9/11.
Strangely, I can't find anything on CNN.com, FoxNews.com, or NYTimes.com.
As Hop-Frog has pointed out, Whitewater took over $100 million to find out that
Clinton cheated on Hillary, but only $3 million has been appropriated for review
of the greatest tragedy ever on our nation's soil.
Additionally, the conservative DC circuit court has allowed Clinton to recoup
only 2% of his legal costs against the over-aggressive and very-well-funded
effort to remove him; sitting Presidents are legally allowed to petition for
reimbursement of legal fees that they incur while in office. Compare him to
Nixon, who was allowed to reclaim about 72% of his costs.
