John:
You really will just argue inanely over almost anything won't you?
Frank's post was so reasonable, so even-handed as to almost be void of
interesting comment. At face value, and as history has taught us again and
again -- taking out a single city is manifestly unimportant in the grand
scheme of things. Would we like it? Heck no. Would it end our society as
we know it? Heck no.
In case you hadn't noticed: we are a country and not a single city. And a
rather large country too.
I sort of take exception with your response because it does really feel like
an obvious troll. I really cannot fathom why anyone would take your
position. Decapitating the mere symbols of our republic is hardly the same
thing as decapitating the republic itself. Further, the events of 911 have
taught us that while many people can be hit at once -- you aren't getting
them all. Lots of people survive these events at the same time that, sadly,
many do not.
Seriously -- why don't you just be quiet for a short while? Think about the
nonsense you routinely post.
