(I had to bring it up... sorry in advance for the apparent jingoism)

So, Bush, Blair and Aznar are to meet in the Lajes base (Açores) next Sunday
- funny how *the portuguese* were the last to know it, but that's not my point.
The real question is "why there"?
They say it's because it's "halfway", but I think it's because milky cows
don't know how to protest or march with signs, if you get my meaning...

(Actually, it can turn out to be a great boost for the Islands Tourism: the
IMF, the G8 and the WEF now know where to avoid those pesky protestors... ;-)

Oh well... let the big guys enjoy the green pastures and the volcanoes.
Because that's all there is to this summit, really: hardly any advancement
in international consensus will emerge from there... :-(
