America is not most definitly moving willingly to the right--it's being
*forced* to the right by the 'chicken littles'--"Oh no! The sky is falling!
Remember the good ol' days when kids didn't kill one another in school, when
planes weren't flying into buildings, when minorities weren't rioting and
burning houses and streets--when we all got along as one nation 'under God'"
Well, Rose coloured glasses aside--every age had its issues--I'm pretty much
extremely happy I wasn't alive during McCarthiesm--trouncing on people's
civil liberties for what they said or personally believed, incarcerated
indefinitly for no just cause, for neighbours spying and snitching on
neighbours--oh wait--look at these new laws being forced thru... nevermind.
Once again (besides our PM at this moment),
TGIC :)
