I think we touched on this before. I think the 1st step in understanding
your stats is to know what each country defines as a violent crime *and*
what proportion of crime is reported but these factors may well have been
taken into account in your stats? Homicide rates are much easier to compare
& I suspect the statistics may be more accurate (most murders are reported).

We have the worst diet in the western world, as a result heart disease is
also the amongst the highest in the world. It shocks me to see the rubbish
people feed themselves are their kids in the UK (Scotland is the worst).
Two meals come to mind:
1) Deep fried Mars Bar in batter.
2) Deep fried pizza in batter.
I have tried neither.
From the BBC:
· 38% of coronary heart disease deaths in women are associated with physical
inactivity
· 47% of coronary heart disease deaths in women are linked to high cholesterol
· 6% of coronary heart disease deaths in women are caused by obesity
· 20% of coronary heart disease deaths in men are due to smoking
· 16% of coronary heart disease deaths in men are due to high blood pressure.
