It's too late - the market is in the untold millions already, closing the
floodgates will only insure that ONLY criminals have them.
If we were starting from ground zero, without millions out there, it would be a
different matter.

I'm not ignoring them completely.

Good question, I have no idea. But accidental death #s are easily obtained. And
RoadRage cases ARE increasing.

I would advocate training PERIOD. I don't think anyone should own/operate
anything with a high possibilty of danger without required training (cars, guns,
you name it).
When I do buy a gun, I WILL take various training courses.
