When I was in my twenties I let loose to a co-worker something quite similar to
what Katie wrote and made him so angry he went home and pounded his fist on his
toilet tank, shattering it and flooding his bathroom.  No one told me about it
until after he left to take another job-- darn.

Yikes, do I really want to get involved in this???

What Katie had to say was a complete non-sequiter to what I had to say - it
didn't relate, I couldn't tell what her real point was through the sarcasm,
she effectively misquoted me, and seemed to be under the impression that I
am recruiting for the Libertarian Party (as I'm sure Chris Weeks and Larry
P. will point out, I'm not a Libertarian).  All I got was a sense of
hostility and I really am not sure why.  Since she has chosen not to respond
to my follow-up message to her, I can only presume that she likes that
boulder sitting there.

Oh well.

Bruce

As I interpreted it, and mind you it could be a case of snippage, she was
responding to "A failing on minorities and women to understand the
Libertarian message?". She seemed to be pointing out that she is a woman and
does get the message. It just so happens that she has other things taking
priority over an active role in the LP, some of them being sexual bias which
is still common in todays American society.

Sounds like the start of a new thread to me....
