Indeed. I think that starting point for looking at the background of the
users of Lugnet is to look at the users on the internet and of Lego. Looking
at Lugnet alone is useless in my opinion.

Lego aside, that was what my question to Larry is all about. Why does the LP
appear to be so male and so white? This is what I said here also:

One could argue that you are using your memebership fee to invest in a
Libertarian future. Your fellow members may hope for a return on that
investment in the longer or shorter term. Why do only white males feel it is
worth investing in that future? Why? Is it because it will benifit them more?
Perheps non-white males feel excuded? Perhaps they are just not intersest in
a return to segragation?

It could be argued that politics is still a male thing. But this is normally
less true at the grass roots - the LP is a grass roots party.

I think it is more complex than that. Before that conclusion can be drawn
the demographics of internet access and the adult Lego market must be
considered more fully... in my opinion.
