I guess maybe a few hundred people would probably claim that it did involve the
use of force to conquor the area. But the other six billion, when presented
with the facts would not.
Mike Oliver went to an unused atoll and used dredging techniques
to build up a "reef." As a result, he actually owned his own country
for a few months. But then it got nasty. The kind of Tonga wanted
him out of the neighborhood and invaded the young nation, capturing them
entirely and subjugating them under Tongan rule.
