I just received the lot of Coko pirate ship parts I won off eBay. The
cool thing - I was worried whether all the hull parts were there because
I couldn't see them, no need to worry, there are TWO complete hulls,
with 4 center sections each (well 8 since the Coko hull sections are
split in two)!

If anyone can point me to some instructions I'd be most grateful. When I
manage to turn these into something, I'll post a review here.

At a quick glance, these look to be higher quality than Mega Bloks and
Best Lock. They also "borrowed" much more from LEGO than Best Lock, most
of the parts are very similar to LEGO parts than Best Lock's do. The
split hull is neat. I might actually try making a 20 wide ship.

Hi Frank,
I currently own 3 Coko ships: two of them pirate of the same type, and one is
a current military aircraft carrier. The pirates, are the Raiders, and the
hull sections are brown. The aircraft carrier has a deep green color to them.
I've made a few ships out of the brown ones, the green are recent,(within
about a year now,) aquisitions. You can see a reasonable picture of my Pirate
ship creation at: http://www.geocities.com/TimesSquare/Castle/1334/shipa.html
I can't remember how wide I got it.
As far as instructions go, well, your on your own, unless someone like me
offers to send you some scans of the sets they have.

And BTW, welcome to the darkside.

By "current aircraft carrier," do you mean currently available?  I'd thought that
Coko was out of production.  Incidentally, I found a small blisterpack animal
"starter set" in a Ben Franklin yesterday -- $3.45.  Didn't buy it, but it looked
interesting (well articulated figs, and what's more, neat inverted med-slopes with
stepping).

best

Lindsay
