While we're celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Lego system, it is
appropriate to note and give a cheer here that Enlighten is celbrating their
45th year of toy manufacture, proudly proclaiming their quality control, that
parts manufactured in 1963 work seamlessly with parts made in 2008. On a side
note, they still print their bricks and tiles, so that aspect of quality control
is now above TLG. Lets all give a cheer
(Larry ducks and runs down to the third floor of his bomb shelter :-})

The only down side, as far as I can tell, is that there's no way I'll ever be able to assemble anything close to a comprehensive listing of their sets (...) (17 years ago, 18-Feb-08, to lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)
