Hi,
Neat website! And your links are fantastic, especially the ones to the Japanese
LEGO sites. I desperately want to go there to score some cool LEGO stuff.
Anyway, my question is, have you ever considered using Rapid Prototyping
technology to make your parts? Its still very expensive, but it would cost less
than making an injection mold. How many pieces would be in a typical production
run of (lets say) beards? More or less than 100?
You could probably pack at least that many in a typical RP machines build
envelope. Stratasys Dimension makes parts out of ABS. Youd still have to clean
them up, but theyd be pretty hard, just like LEGO.
