I won
this Crane on Friday after a harshly-contested bidding process. Tyco’s
Superblocks came and went during my early college days (aka my LEGO Dark Ages),
so everything I know about them has been gleaned from other clone fans,
auctions, and the occasional tiny catalog that comes with an auction lot. My
knowledge of the Construction theme is even weaker--I have just two small sets
and a themed bulk-tub, but I think the designs are among Tyco’s best.
The same seller also had a
Dumptruck that I didn’t win, (too rich for my blood, I guess) but it also looks
cool.
Once I receive the crane I’ll post a review of the set (and maybe a rendering,
because you know how I am about that kind of thing...)
