I had to go to one of our venders this morning and stopped at Target on the
way. They now have the 3 small LotR sets for $14.99 each. I got the Battle at
Weathertop… More on it when I get a chance to look at it.
On the way back I stopped at Kmart and they have 2 new Mega Bloks play sets for
$23. Each set comes with a large black carrying case and 10 minifigs.
9720 Army comes with a tank, helicopter, jeep*, and missile launcher. The
minifigs are the same as the ones from 9122 (Creature Seekers Desert Duel**)
with a new shirt sticker.
9723 SWAT comes with an attack vehicle, helicopter, SWAT van, a police car, and
a robot. The minifigs are the same as the ones in 9332 (SWAT Block Bot).
I didn't buy one because I had just bought the LotR set, but I hope to soon.
Also I wonder if there are 9721 and 9722 coming… Maybe one would be a castle
set.
* Speaking of Jeeps, Best-Lock has the official Jeep license for construction
toys. A military version is now available at Target for $9.99.
** 9122 Creature Seekers Desert Duel is still in production because I picked up
one at KB last month for $1.99 and it had the latest MB catalog.
